Lisa is an accomplished corporate leader, CEO, strategic advisor, and executive coach with 20+ years of expertise helping organizations, boards, and executive teams achieve breakthrough results and successfully navigate through periods of intensive change and reinvention.
To date, her track record includes playing an extensive role in catalyzing the success of numerous top public and private organizations including Amazon.com, Treehouse, Year Up, Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, and the Jubilee Women's Center. Additionally, she has served on the board of numerous top organizations including Social Venture Partners, Bellevue College, Threshold Group, and the Ada Developers Academy—in addition to holding numerous additional task force and committee roles.
Through her consulting and interim leadership work, Lisa prides herself on helping executive teams crystallize their vision, establish clear goals, and navigate their organizations to the next level of sustainability and performance. A master change agent and communicator, she is able to facilitate "fierce conversations" among diverse stakeholder groups and guide teams/leaders in effective methods for building engagement, enthusiasm, and alignment throughout their workforce—as well as with key external donors and strategic partners.
In terms of approach, much of Lisa's philosophy revolves around the application of strengths-based models to help senior leaders (particularly women leaders and BIPOC executives) grow, develop, and excel in their roles. In her role as coach and advisor, she is able to help leaders identify the key leadership gaps and blind spots inhibiting their growth—in addition to helping them enhance their executive presence and sharpen their competencies in terms of decision-making, emotional intelligence, and multi-cultural team leadership.
Educational credentials that Lisa has amassed to date include a Ph.D. in Education from UCLA and a B.A. Degree in Political Science and Art from Wellesley College.
